Application Architect
  • Application Architect for a worldwide solution involving Hong Kong, Denmark, Turkey and Belgium. The system replaced current point of sale retail applications with a more robust system. Responsible for managing a large development team implementing interfaces between back-end and front-end systems.
  • Lead software developer and Application Architect for many projects running on the Estee Lauder Corporate Intranet. Developed CosmeticsCompanyStore.com – an online e-commerce shopping site. Worked on many of the internal and external websites including the Uniforms ordering web site, a System Access Web Site which ties to the HR Oracle database provided complete Sarbanes-Oxley compliant tracking system of all applications assigned to new and existing Estee Lauder Companies system users. Worked on implementing PCI Compliant Certification for existing e-commerce applications.

MS SQL 2000-2005 servers were used to store product catalogs and customer information. Processed real-time credit card payments using VeriSign PayFlow Pro system. Created PayPal integration for additional payment services.
  • Designed and created database schemas; provided web maintenance, database back-ups, new feature implementation, system security, and performance tuning. Implemented PCI Compliant credit card storage environment.
CREDIT SUISSE/FIRST BOSTON, New York, NY (2001)
Senior Technology Consultant
  • Provided IT consulting to one of the leading investment banks in the world, utilizing Visual Basic 6.0 to create administrative tool for IT Security Department’s Electronic Access System. This automated workflow system streamlined the process of requesting access to electronic resources; replaced paper-based forms, telephone calls, and unstructured e-mails; provided management with ability to monitor requests; and achieved 30% reduction in number of administrators needed to manage system access.
  • Worked with additional Microsoft technologies over the course of this project, including SQL Server 7.0, NT 4.0, IIS 4.0, ADO 2.6, Exchange Server, and Visual InterDev 6.0.

  • Made key contributions to www.EJAA.net, designing and implementing 4-tier Object Model using COM/DCOM running under Microsoft transaction Server (MTS). Wrote programs in Visual Basic 6.0 and HTML/ASP 2.0.

  • Implemented FTP module to automatically download user profiles and latest updates from mainframe server.
  • Served as database administrator, installing SQL server; setting up security accounts; and creating databases, triggers, and stored procedures.

Senior Programmer/Informix/MS-SQL Server 6.5 Database Administrator
  • Designed and developed order processing and entry system for one of the leading ad and news monitoring agencies in the United States, designing the application in Visual Basic 4.0 with Informix 7.2 database as back-end. This system automated entire order entry process, dramatically reduced processing time, and enabled client to generate and process one million sales in one month for first time in company history. 17 offices throughout United States are currently using this system.
  • Utilized Visual Basic 5.0 and SQL Server 6.5 to provide cost and production time simulations to major construction company.
  • Co-developed management system for a corporation that operated apartment complexes throughout New York City. Project involved Visual Basic 5.0 and Oracle 7.0.
  • Utilized Visual Basic 5 and Informix 7.2 to design and develop real-time order processing system for Internet service provider.
